Received recently. Unit is very industrial! Large and lots of suck!!! Jar attachment works well. Have used both rolls and bags. Seems like it seals well. Adjustable seal temp is nice. I would say it is as good as the upper end foodsavers and much nicer than the low end units from rival. At $60 from amazon,
you can't beat it!!!! Will use for all those freezer burn things like chicken, shrimp,and fish.


Only drawbacks are the price of bags/rolls and it takes alot of pressure to lock lid for sealing. But I think they are all that way. Would buy again in a minute. I paid $80. Deni's new model is about $259 for a similar unit (Check their website for sure??)

Hope this helps as I couldn't find reviews on this brand online before I bought.

Received my Deni on August 9th and am thrilled. I had struggled with another well known brand vacuum sealer and was completely frustated with the performance. I finally returned it with the intention of upgrading but they had nothing available to upgrade to. Found the Deni,did some research and could not believe the price vs. the suggested retail but was a bit doubtful until I used it. Is works truly as one would expect a commercial grade device to work. Seals in a flash. The bag holder reduces storage space and the cutter is an added bonus since I apparently cannot cut a straigh line with scissors. Jar sealer also another bonus and works in a heartbeat. The only problem is I seem to be buying things just to use the sealer because it is sooooo much better that the previous one I had.

The Deni Magic Vac worked just as advertised. I'm very pleased at this time will see if I feel same in six months.
