Stable. Runs cool with my Scythe Ninja Heatsink/fan. Good for overclocking. Handles multitasking well. The 4200+ is a great processor. Prices should drop within a few weeks substantially once the new Intel processors hit market.

At first when I started building the comptuer, I didn't know what to expect, but now... It's more than twice as fast as my Intel Pentium M laptop!

I got the AMD Athlon-64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+ Processor Socket 939 as a upgrade to my computer. The Product was to replace a single core older AMD Athlon 64 Socket 939 processor in my computer. Does it work, well I am writing this review now. Installation was easy. I got my particular CPU used, so it lacked the heatsink/fan and thermal grease. So those buyers who getting there own CPU make sure you have (or is ordering) thermal compound and a heatsink/fan unit.
