5.0 out of 5 stars Vanilla Ice Paved The Way For Eminem..., May 15, 2007
...and you KNOW it's true! This is a great album. People hate on Vanilla Ice for no reason. Give the guy a break. I had the honor of meeting him at a concert a few years ago. He's great live and is a really nice guy. He's stood the test of time and has made some music that we'll never forget. This album is no acception. His cover of Survivor is simply awesome. There is not as much metal on this CD as there is on his last couple albums, but there are a few heavy rockin' tracks such as "Step up or Shut Up" & "Persevere" He also shows a serious side on "Tell Me Why"
...If you're considering buying this album, I say go for it... & buy Hard To Swallow and Bi-Pollar while you're at it AND STOP HATING!

5.0 out of 5 stars ICE at his best, August 17, 2005
By RW "RW" (Corona, CA) - See all my reviews
This CD is some of ICE's best work to date. The whole CD is awesome, every track on here rocks. This is a must purchase for any true ICE fan or any fan of real rap music, this is no cheesy Eminem crap this is the real deal coming from the ICE man!

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent album, February 23, 2006
Maybe "Platinum Underground" wasn't as good as "Bi-Polar" but it was still a good album. 'Survivor,' 'Dunn Natt' were good songs and it was nice to hear the new version of Ice Ice Baby. I'm tired of everything always saying negative stuff about Vanilla Ice. People don't give him as much respect as he deserves because of his image from the 90's, yet 2pac and 50 Cent get a load of respect for what? For rapping about murder. Give the good MUSCIANS respect and stop hating on Ice all the time. Overall, I liked the album and if you are an Ice fan, buy it.
