My son got this toy for Christmas, and it was a huge hit. Less than two full months later, Woody's string broke and he is no longer functional. The string is permanently drawn all the way out and won't go back in, therefore he doesn't talk any more.It was very disappointing that it didn't last long. My son still plays with Woody every once in a while but he strongly preferred this toy when it talked.

I searched and searched for a Woody Doll that had the original Tom Hanks voice but I couldn't find one. My three year old wanted to know why his voice was different from the movie and why does his hat have two holes in it. The holes are there because there are a number of annoying security twisty ties securing Woody and his hat to the packaging. The hat doesn't stay on very well but other than those things I've mentioned it's not a bad toy.

I was thrilled to get this Woody doll for my 3yo son, until I saw the same doll packaged with the Cowgirl doll (can't remember her name despite watching Toy Story 2 over, and over and over again) for the same price at Toys R Us.
