Awesome Southern Flavor, Crunk, Fire CD, October 22, 2005
Three 6 Mafia titled their latest CD Most Known Unknown because they feel like they are respected by the streets but rarely given proper recognition from the industry and the media. Three 6 Mafia is made up of DJ Paul, Juicy J and Crunchy Black. They received their first major national recognition with their 90's song "Tear Da Club Up."
The Most Unknown is the most crunk and fired down South CD of 2005. The CD opens up with a pretty hot intro titled "Most Known Unknown Hits." This blended track provides listeners with a glimpse of several of the groups biggest hits including "Tear Da Club Up," "Ridin' Spinners," "Sippin' on Some Syrup," "One Hitta Quitta," and "Baby Mama." By running down the hits it's clear that they have had a string of hits even though a lot of people might not know the group members by name or be able to recognize them by site. The intro is followed by their current radio smash "Stay Fly," which features fellow Tennessee artists Young Buck and Eightball & MJG.
Album producers Dj Paul and Juicy "J" really know how to create that crunk "Tear Da Club Up" style of music and this is quite evident on songs like "Don't Violate" and "Knock That Black Off Yo ***." These songs will make the tamest person want to get up and fight or get real crunk on the dance floor. They also know how to slow it down and create that real laid back ridin' music like on songs "Poppin' My Collar," and "Swervin."
Although the album features primarily Three 6 Mafia they do have some company on The Most Known Unknown. The album features guest appearances from long time collaborator Project Pat, Frayser Boy, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Boogieman, Remy Ma, Lil Flip, Chrome, Granddaddy South, Young Buck and Eightball & MJG.
The Most Unknown also includes the third installment of their popular song "Body Parts." This incarnation features 9 rappers on the track. The album also includes "Stay Fly-Still Fly" remix which features Slim Thug, Trick Daddy and Project Pat.

Three 6 Mafia is known in my book, November 10, 2005
Three 6 Mafia has been my favorite rap group ever since i heard the track Baby Mama off Choices. These guys bring it on every cd the make especially my favorite rapper Juicy J. Juicy J and DJ Paul have good flow to there lyrics, but Crunchy Black almost all the time is bad. You can barely understand what he is saying, and everytime you can understand what he is saying it makes no sense at all. I think Three 6 ought to kick him out the group. Songs rate as follows:
1. Most Unknown Hits- 4/5...Intros are never perfect but this intro is better than most.
2. Stay Fly- 5/5...Hot track, i was watching BET's 106 and park today and it was #2 on the countdown, finally Three 6 gets some air time after over a decade of tearin' the rap game up.
3. Roll With It- 3.7...Alright track, sounds like they are talking over intercom o something, catchy.
4. Don't Violate- 5/5...Hot beat, put your foot up they ass and tell that hoe don't violate!
5. Swervin'- 2/5...Too slow,I skip the track 30 seconds into the song, pretty boring track.
6. Knock Tha Black off your Ass- 1/5...weak track, bad beat, bad chorus, bad song, period.
7. Poppin' my Collar- 3.2/5...alright i guess the repeative chorus "poppin' poppin' my collar" and the beat gets annoying after awile.
8. Hard Hittaz- 4/5...Unique beat, sorta sounds like that old gameboy game tetris.
9. Side 2 Side- 5/5...Hot Hot Hot Beat, my favorite song on the Cd.
10. Half on a Sack- 4.7/5...Nice Beat, Juicy J's verse on this track is the best verse on the track to me.
11. Skit...........yay
12. When I Pull Up at the Club- 4/5...The chorus is taken from the song "yeah I Rob" on the CD Choices 2" The setup. Nice beat, catchy song.
13. Pussy got ya hooked- 5/5...Nice beat, never heard anything like it before.
14. Don't Cha Get Mad- 3/5...Ok is all to say here.
15. Body Parts 3- 3/5...Dark/spooky beat, lots of different voices on this track, many guests appearances...
16. Stay Fly Remix- 4/5...Very Good remix, trick daddy is on here, one of my favorite rappers.
17. Outro.....its an outro, but Three 6's outro's tend to be funny, including this one.
18. Got it 4 Sale- 4/5...Beats is good nice bonus
19. Let's Plan a robbery- 4.3/5...Crunchy did a good good with his verse and with the chorus....good job Crunchy keep up the progress.
20. Dancin' on a pole- 4/5...Catchy verses, good beat, i wish girls were dancin' on the pole for me right about this time.
21. ain't got time for gamez- 4/5...Nice beat sorta sounds like got it 4 sale, nice track.
Three 6 is #1 in my book for as long as Juicy J drops the rhymes. DJ Paul and Juicy J always do a great job with there production, and this album is good evidence of that most off the beats are hot. Hopefully after this CD is all said in done Three 6 Mafia will finally get some credit for being the best rap group in the game today. Buy this album it's well worth the 13.99$!!!!!!!
