Biography

American rapper Young Buck is a member of hip-hop group G-Unit, and in common with many of his contemporaries, his lyrics refer to the law-breaking, on-the-edge lifestyle that rap has allowed him to escape from.

Aged 16 Young Buck was signed by Brian 'Baby' Williams to rap with Cash Money Crew. On tour with Cash Money Crew, he was spotted by rapper 50 Cent and asked to rap on "Blood Hound" from… Read more in Amazon's Young Buck Store

1.0 out of 5 stars NO WAYY, November 9, 2005
By 3J "3Jay" (South Carolina) - See all my reviews
this album is nothing but a handle full of tracks that they "thought" that nobody has heard before. I've heard some of these songs as far back as 2002. I'm glad i didnt waste my money on this one. If you've got to have it, find the boot-leg

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars once again from Buck, November 16, 2005
By G$ "Z-Wad" (B-More, MD) - See all my reviews

Buck is back with another tight album. No big names are on it (other then Bun B) and production is done by someone I never heard of (and he's tight) this is a very solid CD the more I listen to it I'd say equal to his "Straight Outta Cashville" album and closer to 5 stars then the 4 I gave it. Of the 13 songs on here, 1 is a classic, 2 are almost classics, 2 are ok, none are bad, and the rest are good. Guests are on a good amount of the songs as only 3 songs don't have anyone on them, but the guests hold their own as well. Smoov Jizzell does all the production (Jordan Suecof co-produces one track) and he is pretty tight. Lyrics are typical Young Buck, about hustlin and gangstas witha few more personal songs, but for the most part it's his same formula. A good album to have for his fans or fans of southern rap.

#1 - 9 (f/ Rizin Sun -- nice beat)
#2 - 8.5 (f/ Bun B & Smoov Jizzel -- nice beat)
#3 - 8 (f/ D-Tay & Rizin Sun -- good beat)
#4 - 8 (about hustlin and crime to pay the bills)
#5 - 7.5 (f/ D-Tay)
#6 - 8 (f/ D_Tay)
#7 - 7.5 (f/ D-Tay)
#8 - 9.5 (f/ Rizin Sun -- tight beat)
#9 - 10 (CLASSIC -- nice beat and more mellow track)
#10 - 9.5 (f/ Rizin Sun, D-Tay, First Born -- tight beat)
#11 - 8.5 (has a real annoying hook but tight song)
#12 - 8 (f/ First Born, Bun B -- realxing beat and pimp-type song)
#13 - 9 (f/ D-Tay -- tight beat)

David Darnell Brown -- b. 3/5/81 -- Nashville, TN
