I'd say they are ok. They look good, but the egg kind of slips and wobbles in it. Excellent for the price I paid though. If you can get them at a good price, then I would recommend them.

They hold eggs of medium to x-large size very well, and it's fun to play with the springy holders after breakfast. The coating on the metal seems to get worn-out and rusty overtime, so it's best to avoid washing with water (wipe with a damp cloth and sterilize with Lysol when needed).
