Yeah we all know or suspect even though we would like to admit otherwise that some of our aftermarket add on's really do not as much as advertised.

Well I have been using this particular filter for over 4 years and drive somewhere in the region of 15-20K miles/year in my personal vehicle as part of my career role as a consultant. Yeah I am reimbursed for mileage and expenses and believe me my car is maintained by the manual. The dealership gets no more or less than they recommend or want. I am not stingy because I learned from those in the automotive industry and my elders, you buy a great car, maintain it by the book and drive the heck out of it and I do!!

I notice appreciable horsepower gains not spectacular but enough to keep me using this item year over year, smooth power delivery is what I enjoy the most with K&N air filters and unlike the earlier reviewer. I don't for a moment thinks it compromises my car by it's filtering capability, if so I would stop using it long ago.

For the miles I do I don't care or bother to rewash I simply replace. Like I said I fix, replace and drive, I have much better things to do with my time.

works awesome. saves gas and you get a few more horses out of the filter. add an exhaust and you are saving big bucks on gas. I used to fill my tank once a week now i fill it every ten or eleven days. paid for itself in a month!
