NOTE: Only fits standard US draft faucets like our model DFT500. Faucet lock will not fit the European specialty stout faucets, Perlick seat forward faucets or European style faucets. The device does what it's supposed to. Doesn't come with instructions, but after about 15 seconds study (or less), you get it: Slip it over the tap (as indicated in the picture here), and turn the key until the handle cannot be pulled forward (the key is actually used to 'screw' the pressure fitting against the handle). My only caution is don't over-tighten and risk stressing or breaking the assembly.

Wish list: Maybe some sort of collar to keep near when it's not in place. An if it had an actual rubber cap for the tap to prevent air getting in and help keep it clean, that would be sweet.

This lock does the job. Easy to use, just slip the lock over the faucet and turn the key until snug. The lock is set to allow the key to removed at quarter turn increments. Only complaint is that it comes with only one key. What are they thinking??? Save money and take your one key to a local hardware/home store, or locksmith to get duplicate copies cheaper than the vendor sells them for.

Easy system to use -- you screw the lock into place and then pull out the key (just don't over tighten) -- decent system to keep "unauthorized" access to your favorite brew. Only wish it came with more than one key. If you are looking to just have a locking system, this is a good product to use for the price.
