Having owned a Cycolite previously, I assumed the newer version would perform satisfactorily; the battery pack is reconfigured/packaged differently but it is more convenient than the previous. The dual lite is advantageous owing to both intensity and angle variations combined with the adjustability attribute. The price was very favorable compared with local outlets. This unit combined with appropriate other visability additions for the rear of the bike offer great "be seen" and path lighting. In other words, the intensity of the unit effectively lights the path as well as provides great visibility for oncoming traffic. For safety purposes it is imperative to combine this with high-intensity rear lighting with a visibility rating of at least 1/2 mile.

Great light, actually lets me ride my bike at a great pace, without having to slow down because I cant see ahead of me. Battery Life unbeatable I have about a 30-40 minute ride home and only charge it once a week. On multiple occassions people have been suprised to see that I was on a Bicycle and not a Motorcycle when I have both lights on. Also the dual lights come in handy depending what the current light conditions are.

I use this product to commute to work everyday and it works ok. I really expected more, but it is just ok. The main problem that I have is that the power does not last very long- about 1 1/2 hours.
