5.0 out of 5 stars LIL ROB HAS OPEN THE DOORS TO CHICANO RAP....., July 29, 2005
By Ernesto "100%mexicano" (colorado springs, colorado) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Twelve Eighteen, Pt. 1 (Audio CD)
LIL ROB'S NEW ALBUM IS MORE OF SOMETHING THAT U CAN DANCE TO, IN THE PAST LIL ROB HAS MADE GANGSTER TRACK BUT NOW HE HAS CHANGED HIS STYLE FOR THE RADIO SO IF YOU LIKE ALL THAT 50CENT, LIL JON.... RADIO RAP THAN YOU WILL DEFENTLY LIKE THIS ALBUM.THIS ALBUM WAS MADE FOR EVERYBODY TO BUMP TO .CHICANO RAP IS ON THE RISE. I STILL SUPPORT LIL ROB EVEN THOUGH HE CHANGED HIS STYLE ON THIS ONE. ONE OF MY FAVORITE TRACKS ON THIS ONE IS "SUMMER NIGHTS" ALSO "MY TURN" IS A GOOD TACK. YOU WILL LOVE THIS ALBUM IF YOU LIKE TRUE RAP. CHICANO RAP IS MAKING IT TO THE TOP.

4.0 out of 5 stars Give it a rest!, September 9, 2005
By Greg (Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Twelve Eighteen, Pt. 1 (Audio CD)
Everyone needs to stop crying about "keeping it real." Keeping it real will not pay the bills. Going radio is not at all bad. There is no way you can tell me that Jay-Z, who has been radio for years, is not one of the tightest rappers to date. Even 50 cent is doin his thing. Let lil Rob have his shine on the radio and reach an audience he has never been able to do in the past. And for all of you who claim to be gangsters yourselves, real gangsters don't take the time to get on Amazon to write reviews.

5.0 out of 5 stars #1,like all the other albums, December 3, 2005
By veronica (arizona) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Twelve Eighteen, Pt. 1 (Audio CD)
this album is different than the rest, but just as good.I wouldnt say he "sold out". He just grew up. Life isnt all about "gang banging and hoes",That Sh*t gets old.If u want something 2 relate 2, this is a good album.Ladies, He also has great respect for women, which is more than i can say for all these rappers now dayz. The reason why the word "real" is stressed is because he is what he is, not going out of his way to be fake just to make it( i mean, how many people do u know drive real expensive cars, have a platnum grill, are pimps, and so on... i dont know anyone that can relate to that. who would want to look so stupid)
Have respect 4 ur self- dont be a follower.
