In the first cut of THE MATADOR, the film was longer and darker. Pierce dreams of bullfights and hears the Stones "Paint it Black" in his restless sleep. At the end of the film, at the cemetery we hear "You Can't Always Get What You Want". It was fitting and emotional. But it was also expensive as all hell. Talk about not getting what you want-- There's a reason Mick Jagger owns
