Product Alert: On February 19, 2008, Toshiba officially announced that after a "thorough review of its overall strategy" they have decided to no longer develop, manufacture, and market HD DVD players and recorders. The company has reduced shipments of HD DVD players and recorders to retail channels and expects to be out of the HD DVD business by the end of March 2008.
