Sparkling diamond accents and a shimmering mother-of-pearl dial add a feminine touch to this sophisticated dress watch from Movado's Kara series. Silvertone Dauphine hands and Movado's iconic concave dot marker highlight the perfectly round Museum dial. This is the Movado's signature dial, made famous by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his minimalist design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The pretty dial is set in a solid steel case framed by a diamond-accented bezel. It presents on a slender silver-tone bangle bracelet that fastens with a jewelry clasp. In addition to its classic styling and graceful silhouette, the Kara offers precise Swiss quartz movement and a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This watch is water resistant to 30 meters.

The watch is gorgeous. It's very classy, femine and elegant. It's also very unique as you can't buy it with a mother-of-pearl in a store. Highly recommended!

I ordered & received the watch with no problems. Watch is beautiful and the woman loved it. However, rather than sending me the manufacturers warranty as stated, they sent me an amazon warranty. The difference? I have to send it back to amazon if there is ever a problem rather than being able to bring it directly to a movado dealer which is local to me. This introduces a middle man and thus makes repair times significantly longer than it should be. I have made SEVERAL formal complaints, and amazon has done NOTHING to compensate me for this. They simply stated "You can send it back for a refund, and we are fixing our site to state the correct warranty". However, 6 months later the page STILL states "manufacturers warranty". So they basically screwed me and tried to offer me a $10 credit for my troubles. $10???? Amazon you suck.
