The EX-Link drive system provides a bio-mechanically superior 20-inch stride length in a very compact design--only 67 inches in length. The oversized, closely positioned pedals offer comfort and a motion that models your natural walking gait. The multi-position handlebars and oversized, closely positioned footpads offer comfort and a natural walking motion for users of all preferences. The Quiet-Stride drive system includes commercial grade sealed bearings, oversized brass bushings, and poly-V-belt with 10.5 to 1 flywheel to pulley ratio, providing smooth resistance at all workout levels.

The exercise computer features the patent-pending Intelli-Key blue light buttons that simply and easily step you through console operations and a 16-character alpha numeric display. Preset programs include mountain, weight loss, heart rate control, interval, 5K/10K distance, random, manual, and two user customizable programs--each with 16 levels of resistance. Console read-outs include time, distance, speed, calories burned, resistance, and heart rate (via the contact sensors built into the handlebars). The EX3 also includes target heart rate programming via the included chest strap heart rate monitor.

Narrow pedal spacing places feet, knees and hips in proper alignment that provide comfort and a more natural stride. Push button resistance with (16) levels and (10) preset programs provide a variety of challenging programs and workouts. The console provides 3 LED readouts and an 8 * 16 LED Program Matrix. The EX3 elliptical was designed to accommodate users up to 350 pounds and provides a 15 year warranty on the Frame, 2 years on the parts and 6 months labor.

Elliptical arrived by truck and fully assembled. I have used this for one month and had no problems. I am very happy with the purchase.

Although it is not commerdial grade it is still a good elliptical for the money. I expected it to be more robust but at a thousand dollars I did not find anything better.

This is a very good, club quality elliptical for an affordable price. My wife thinks that the resistance is too high compared to the club models, but it is a fraction of the cost and appears to be very well made.
