Enhanced CD single, the 2006 debut by this Sheffield band. Features two versions of 'Weekend Without Makeup' (Main Vesion and Enhanced Video) plus 'Fulwood Babylon'. The Long Blondes are the part of the next chapter of Sheffield's idiosyncratic musical heritage: the suburban disco fantasies of the Human League, the opulent ridiculousness of ABC, the seedy glamour of Pulp. The single was produced by Pulp bassist and M.I.A producer Steve Mackey, with the b-sides recorded by Trash DJ Erol Alkan, his first foray into record production. Rough Trade.
