I had seen these used by the anesthesia staff in the operating room where I worked. Due to an injury to his arm, my dad can't open the the little pre-moistened alcohol wipes to use when checking his blood sugar. He also has trouble handling a bottle of alcohol to wet a gauze. This device is wonderfully simple to use and you can easily control the amount of alcohol added to a piece of gauze or tissue. I purchased unsterile gauze in a package of 200. This system works beautifully for him.

A bottle for dispensing alcohol. Works perfectly well. Saves a lot of money on individual alcohol wipes. Doesn't leak if it tips over but I wouldn't leave it on its side or turn it upside down. Good value but loses a star for its very depressing look. A white or clear bottle would look better, especially in the home setting.
