5.0 out of 5 stars Go for it, October 21, 2008

I bought this for a very old Mac (running Leopard).
It works just great, I was able to download updates, videolan and watch last apple keynote at same time. Very impressive. Keeps the signal steady.

I tested it on Vista as well and it runs smoothly. It also run on Linux but I don't need or use it.
It comes with English/Chinese mini manual electronic and paper.

The only annoying part, on mac, that you need to keep an application (which is the actual network driver) running on dock for the time that you want to be connected. It's visually annoying but that's about it.

For that price and this quality I say go for it!

I needed a USB internet adapter for a very old MAC computer - I ordered this after considerable hesitation (the folks in the Apple store discouraged me).
However, it works great!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Piece of Cake!, March 14, 2009

I have absolutely no problems with this adapter

STEP BY STEP EASY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Put the CD in my PC (Windows XP) [adapter not plugged in yet]
2. Installed the drivers/software
3. plugged in the USB adapter and chose "find on CD" for the driver.
4. Opened configuration utility, and changed top right to "Access Point"
5. Bridged to my Ethernet adapter (both in the adapter settings and via Network Connections)

connected PSP, worked perfectly

OPTIONAL TIPS:
> Bridging is easy in Windows XP, select both connections (shift click) and click Bridge Connections
> Change Channel to 11 for faster speeds (54.0 Mbps)
> Set up a 10-digit 64bit WEP key if you'd like security, I did 00123456789
> Choose Hide SSID to have a non-broadcasting network (if you're paranoid like me
> If either the wireless or Internet on your PC stop working, delete the bridge and remake it.

Works perfectly so far for me, good luck to you all.
