Biography

Born March 13, 1940, in Hanceville, AL, Candi Stanton sang with the Jewell Gospel Trio as a teenager. They toured the traditional gospel circuit in the 1950s with the Soul Stirrers, C.L. Franklin, and Mahalia Jackson. They recorded several sides for Nashboro, Apollo, and Savoy Records between 1953 and 1963. Just listening to the samples has me in a rush to buy this collection!!!!
If your music taste buds is for the " down home blues" style, Candi has fixed songs like that,if your music taste is for " praise & worship", she fixed songs like that! Candi has prepared for us an buffet style of music that fit almost every music taste buds there is.God used his chosen vessel Candi Staton for a time such as this to bring comfort in music and song for EVERYONE to enjoy.THIS IS A MUST BUY!!!!!
