Jette and Ives combine sophisticated narrative poetry and emotive musical sensibility in a fusion of pure genius. "In the Deep" is a naughty, pensive, raw night-blooming flower. The lyrics and music are equally articulate, honest and evocative, and the vocals are soulful and precise. Leave genre alliegences at the door - this album speaks to everyone.
