4.0 out of 5 stars Great Period Soundtrack, September 4, 2006
By Admit One (Pasadena, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This is actually a great peroid soundtrack. There's no dead wood on this one. All of these are classic examples of 70's rock.

Track List
1. I Got a Name - 3:11 (Croce, Jim / Croce, Jim)
2. Let It Ride - 4:23 (Bachman-Turner Overdrive / Bachman Turner Overdrive)
3. I Just Want to Celebrate - 3:36 (Rare Earth)
4. Free Ride - 3:06 (Winter, Edgar / Winter, Edgar)
5. Mandolin Wind - 5:32 (Stewart, Rod / Stewart, Rod)
6. Drift Away - 3:55 (Gray, Dobie)
7. Funk, No.49 - 3:53 (James Gang)
8. Do You Know What I Mean - 3:14 (Michaels, Lee)
9. Let's Work Together - 2:46 (Canned Heat)
10. Fooled Around and Fell in Love - 4:35 (Bishop, Elvin / Bishop, Elvin)
11. How Long - 3:23 (Ace)
12. Feelin Alright - 4:26 (Grand Funk Railroad)
13. Stranglehold - 10:55 (Nugent, Ted / Nugent, Ted)

5.0 out of 5 stars Brings back memories of the mid-70's, September 2, 2006
By Friends Fan "cal33" (Cranston, RI United States) - See all my reviews
While watching the movie "Invincible" at the theater, the music really stood out because it totally captured the mood of the mid-1970's time period in which it's set. Just hearing these songs that were popular when I was entering my teens brought back lots of great memories.

This CD brings together a number of 1970's hits in one place, giving you a great disc to play when you're in the mood to reminisce about a simpler time.

The music really complements the movie but it's also a great stand-alone disc for your collection.

I really liked this CD. While watching the movie I was thinking about how good the music was. So as soon as I could I ordered the CD and I love it.
