When you think of the state of Iowa, you certainly dont think of politically and socially conscious, yet strikingly heavy hardcore bands. This is about to change with the release of the debut full length cd from Iowa City's own IGNITE THE WILL. "Words Fail" is a wake up call in a stagnant national hardcore scene that has lost its way, a reminder of a time when bands had something more to say and stood proud for what they believed in. A bruising 30+ minutes of thought provoking and engaging hardcore in the spirit of pioneers Earth Crisis, Damnation AD, and Unbroken mixed with the new school ferocity of Terror, Bury Your Dead, and Seventh Star. Produced by Andy Vickery (of Embrace Today) at R.A.W. Recording Studios (Embrace Today, Suffocate Faster) in Boston, Massachusetts.
