If you live in a jurisdiction with "no burn" days, you can still enjoy your fireplace whenever you want. Simply burn gel on restricted days, and go back to burning wood whenever you wish. With the Flamenco Gel Fireplace Log Set, there are no harmful emissions to be concerned about. With Flamenco, you get a constantly changing panorama of fire. The patented Flame Controller lets you regulate the intensity of the flame, how much gel is used, and how long it will burn. Many gel products are sold as "vent-free", but all have some odor when they are burned. The FlamencoŽ Logsets are designed for safe burning in a vented wood-burning fireplace. While Flamenco gel requires much less venting than wood, you should burn with your damper at least partially open. FlamencoŽ Gel is made from renewable, naturally derived alcohol, formulated to burn cleanly with a minimum of soot. Unlike gas, gel isn't explosive. It lights gently, slowly spreading the flame across the surface when a match or lighter is touched to it. Gel is easy to control when you put it in the gel box, making it neat and tidy in the home. Add as much or as little as you like for the timing of the fire you desire. You can snuff the fire at will and relight it when you return. There are two Flamenco Logset sizes to go into almost any fireplace. Measure the width of your fireplace, at a line 12 inches back from the front.
