Measuring a mere 6.5 inches long and 1.81 inches in diameter, the thermometer mounts conveniently on virtually any wall surface. More significantly, it measures the temperature from -40 all the way up to 120 degrees F, helping you instantly gauge whether to bring the plants inside during a cold spell or turn on the air conditioner on a hot afternoon. Users needn't worry about poor readings, as the TX1001 is accurate to within plus or minus 2 degrees F. And should the Fahrenheit scale prove insufficient, the thermometer also includes a Celsius scale. Other details include a white, all-weather molded plastic wall case; an easy-to-read dial imprint with ultraviolet fade-resistant inks; a built-in hanger; and a thermometer bulb guard. In addition, the TX1001 is backed by a two-year limited warranty.

I needed several basic thermometers (and I didn't want to pay a fortune).
I ordered 2 6.5" and 2 10.62". They are accurate (less than 1/2 degree difference) and the 10.62"s are particularly easy to read. Excellent for the price, free shipping (combined with some other items), and they arrived 5 days earlier than promised. Thanks again Amazon!

I bought 5 of these to settle the too hot vs. too cold arguments in a large office space. They all came out of the box at the same temp so that was a good sign. Great deal for the < than 2 buck a piece price...
