This isn't a bad product, if you use it casually. I wouldn't use it with a book, I have it clipped to the shelf above my desk so that I can read the fine print on receipts, etc, when I'm on the phone.

The flexible arm is handy because I can angle it up and away from my face when I don't need it.

Unlike the Mighty Bright line (who copied whom, who knows?), it has no place for an AC adaptor, which would be nice to have.

But also unlike Mighty Bright products, it's less expensive and I had to return 3 Might Brights because they either failed after 2-3 uses or the flex arm wouldn't stay put.

i wanted to change the stars ...but i am not able to...as i am editing an old review....i recently started using this thing to read at night clipped on to my book..and i must say i had been overtly critical about this earlier...this is a nice lil book light...if it was advertised such ..i think it wud be better...anyways...the magnifying glass doesnt serve me a purpose yet...but...the lights good enuff to read without disturbin ur partner..

I am growin to like it ...

Este pequeño artefacto tiene una lampara de gran intensidad que permite trabajar con precisión con cosas pequeñas; se puede ajustar a cualquier superficie y con el brazo extensible colocar la lente para trabajar en forma cómoda; usa tres pilas AAA y es además elegante.
