Limited Edition pressing of the 2006 album from this Britpop boy-band featuring an additional track: 'Don't Stop Me Now', Packed full of stories of alien girlfriends, teenage mobs and broken hearts, Motion In The Ocean was written by McFly at the start of this year. The band then teamed up with producers Julian Emery and Jason Perry, formerly of the poptastic rock outfit A, at Grouse Lodge Recording Studios in Co. Westmeath in the Irish countryside for two weeks to record the album, which includes their their No. 1 smash hit 'Please Please' and new single 'Star Girl'. Mcfly were recently featured as the main musical attraction in the Lindsay Loan film Just My Luck. 12 effervescent Pop/Rock tracks overflowing with bubblicious melodies.. Island.

I agree with the 1st reviewer that McFly have suddenly gone Queen on a lot of tracks. I do hear many influences of pop-rock, plus the usual 60's beach boys type of influence, which I happen to like. At first listen, I was slightly disappointed in some tracks. But after several listens, more and more of the songs got stuck in my head. I started liking each song more and more. I love "Transylvania" best, it's really different! I think McFly are VERY talented at songwriting, singing and performing. Being as I am an adult and therefore been listening to music for longer than some McFly fans, I do hear more influences rather than pure originality. Yet somehow they manage to take familiar sounds and add enough complexities to impress. Bottom line is: These songs are catchy, and I love their singing/harmony style. I also love the variety in style. Yes, there's some pop, some rock, some oldies, they used to throw in a little punk on previous CD's. Variety is the spice of life! I hope McFly stays around for awhile because they are refreshing to me, one of the 1st bands I've really taken to in YEARS!!! Good job, guys, keep it up. :)

Whoa! This is, by far, the best album McFly has come out with. I'll admit, it's not like the old school Mcfly, but it's still really awesome! I can't really give much advice, but it's a really cool album and I'd say it's worth every penny! =]

well this album is really brill! the songs are all very catchy and all very different from each other. i think mcfly are an AMAZING band and they will last a long time! they go down in my books as the greatest band ever! buy this CD because it is just really amazing!
