This cuff is easy to use, the readings appear to be accurate (they jibe with readings in the doctor's office), and the batteries are lasting longer than I expected. Inflation is somewhat noisy, so you may want to close your office door if you're measuring your BP at work. Cuffs are transferable between OMRON products; the large cuff from my manual bp monitor works just fine on this battery-powered monitor. Also, somewhat to my surprise, the action of manually inflating the cuff does not seem to affect readings; the numbers are similar between both monitors. The cuff automatically inflates to 170 mmHG; if it senses that it needs to go higher, it will continue to inflate to 210 mmHG, and you can force it to go even higher if your systolic pressure is really high. No frills, except for a memory bank that retains 14 readings (blood pressure, pulse). Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a BP monitor that is automated but not expensive and want a memory storage capablity. This monitor could be what you are looking for.

This monitor allows you to press a button and have the machine do the rest and give you an accurate measurement so that you can make a decision regarding your health.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to keep accurate tabs on your BP and pulse.

I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. I had a friend to loan me the Omron HEM-712 blood pressure monitor to keep a check on my blood pressure after I'd started taking medication. After one week, I knew I couldn't be without this small medical instrument. So, I returned the borrowed HEM-712 and purchased a new one online through Amazon.com from eGeneralMedical.com. I couldn't be more pleased with the product or the service. I received the monitor in only a few days. If at all possible, I check my BP every morning and evening. It's quick and accurate and tells me exactly what I need to know. I highly recommend this item not only for its purpose, but for its price too.
