Brian Doerksen is famous for his many worship albums and original worship songs (e.g. 'Come, Now is the Time to Worship') sung the world over. The songs on this album keep up his high standard. But it is hard to imagine a more powerful, evocative, and beautiful worship song than the title piece, 'Holy God.' In 'Holy God' there is both what sounds like an English boys' choir and Doerksen's own vocals, alternating at times, at other times in unison. The effect is something like hearing a man singing and playing together with an angelic choir. And again, what they sing is just incredibly beautiful. Truly inspired spiritual music. The best song I've ever heard.

I was completely swept away with this cd. Brian Doerksen is a wonderful writer and musician. I love the way he sings and worships God in his music. There is not one song I didn't like on this cd. Holy, Holy, Holy God is one of my favorites. I love this cd and highly recommend it!
