I have used the Homedic back wrap for both lower back sprains as well as a shoulder injury. I now have full use of my shoulder back. Homedics is one of the few companies selling magnets that actually know you have to place the north end of the magnets towards the body. Magnetic fields are the closest form of energy to human body energy and the body can convert the magnetic energy and use it for healing structural injuries / surgery. The metric you can expect is that is will speed up the healing time by about 2/3.

This back wrap is very helpful with lowback strain. The included gel packs can be frozen to add cold to the back area. I like the mesh siding which is not overly warm. Great price value as well. Magnet therapy may or may not be helpful.

Excellent product. I own one alread yand purchased for a friend with back pain. It helps his back pain while he is at work. Excellent product. Ice helps my back more than heat. I highly recommend.
