This is the best CD I've ever found to enjoy with my children. It's not insipid and is so good I often play it, and sing along, when I'm all alone in the car. My freind's six year old granddaughter asked to "borrow" hers and never returned it. She plays it all the time. A children's CD that can be enjoyed by adults is a rarity. Everyone who has children in their lives (and car) should own this CD. I'm planning to buy more. They make a wonderful, fill-in, gift for baby showers and birthday parties or just a thank-you for some kindness.

i consider myself somewhat of a kids' music guru, and this one is not one of my families' favorites. they touch on some of the old favorites-ones that need to be left alone with more time spent on creating new favorites. the harmonizing gets to be a bit much about midway through the disc. i have heard worse, though!

All the songs my mom used to sing to me in the car, beautifully done. Our daughter loves it and I don't get sick of listening to it. She has a special dance (basically, jumping) she does for The Fox is on the Town-o.
You can tell that the Nields also have children (Nerissa has a good blog - worth checking out).
