This video demonstration was produced to guide you in upgrading your computer's memory. You should use this tool in conjunction with the memory manufacturer's installation instructions, and you should always consult your computer's user manual before working inside your computer. There are two parts to this video. The first part demonstrates upgrading IBM compatible PC's. The second part demonstrates upgrading Macintosh computers. The Macintosh section is divided into three parts based on the different types of Macs available: 1)The II family and some Performas: Their hard drive and monitor are separate units. 2)Mac Classic type: Their hard drive and monitor are one unit. 3)The Powerbook family: Their hard drive and monitor are seperate units attached together. You may watch only the section that pertains to your type of computer and speed through the sections that don't. Opening the computer and gaining access to the memory slots is the first step. Once you have access, the installation of SIMMs is basically the same on every type of computer.
