God, is this guy funny! I have been waiting for this DVD since I first saw it on HBO and I wanted to be the first to write in to let everyone know that they will not be disappointed! Lots more great bits as funny as his first DVD show, Louis C.K.: One Night Stand. Like the first, he is raunchy, hilarious, brilliant, and he has become commonly quoted among my friends and myself. You will NOT be dissapointed with this purchase--it can be watched over and over again and you still laugh every time!

I was watching a clip of this earlier while drinking a soda. What a mistake. I literally spat up my soda and choked with laughter. This man is a menace and should be locked up! Seriously, very inventive material, pitch perfect delivery, and a real gift for threading themes throughout long sequences make Louis CK a sure bet. I can't imagine anyone regretting this purchase.

Louis CK was alway very good. This is light years past anything he has ever done. This is like his 'Sistine Chapel'

He is the 'haiku poet' of shame. Capturing the fleeting moment of discomfort, confusion, irritation, disgust, yearning etc that we all experience but that usually passes 'just below the radar' of our own consciousness. And when he hones in on his subject he goes right to the essence of it with comic genius.

Some of the material is intensely personal, sexual, explicit but NEVER ever UNTRUE, never smarmy or gross for its own sake. I laughed a lot and there were a couple of moments I had that soul-deep laugh you only get once in awhile and only from a master.

Louis CK is an intelligent well-read man - a genuine thinker and avid reader but he doesn't let on in his act. The intelligence is there though, you can feel it.
