Cheap and totally effective. Got this based on Cooks Illustrated review. Glad I did. Feels good in the hand. Has a nice rubbery grip. Obscenely sharp. I don't fish or hunt -- just cook, so the belt-looped case is unused sitting in the garage for that sometime maybe down the road that I actually take it out of the house. Nice to know this thing has a little "outdoorsman" heritage. Kind of feel like I should be wearing camo and a day-glo vest every time I whip it out to dissect a fish or tame a hunk of meat.
