Every band associated with this one is great and Unholy are just as awesome. And I haven't even gotten my copy yet! Loved the first EP and can't wait to get this in the mail.

I really loved GODBELOW. This band has the Screamer and one of the Guitarist from that band. I remember when GODBELOW broke up and I thought "Why?" because they were one of the best Metalcore bands ever, and they didn't last for more than 2 releases, one of which was a split CD with RINGWORM. If you can find those CD's, buy them, you won't regret it.

Back to UNHOLY. This release is pummeling. It doesn't lack agression or groove. Instead of breakdowns, they go into powergroove movements that can make your brain implode. This band has the makings of a classic metal group like THE HAUNTED or SLAYER, without having to compare them to any band.
The music has great guitar parts, lots of double bass, and screaming like that of GODBELOW. Although they are a faster version of said band, they have lots of talent and I urge anyone that likes metal to give it a listen.
I prefer this release over their first one. I think they were trying to find their niche, and the production wasn't as good as it is on "Blood of the Medusa".
I just ordered their newest release on Prosthetic Records, I hope it's as good as this one.
These guys can be really big if they are willing to tour and keep up the quality of writing.
