In hand it appears that it is a sticker affixed to a standard 50 cent plastic cover plate. In hindsight it was uninformed purchase (we bought 2, ~$5 each).

With that said, it does look nice and 2 years later it still looks nice. However, our switches are never exposed to direct sunlight.

If you have the money to spend and are properly informed its a decent sale.

I also think this product was cheap looking after I received it. I kept it as well, because I didn't feel like dealing wth tracking down a new one. However, it was worth the purchase.
