This battery is just what I needed. The 3GS iphone battery just doesn't last very long compared to a regular cell phone, so this extra batter is nice to have for emergencies. The arrow on the front lights up to show how much battery life is left. You can charge both the battery and your phone at the same time. It's perfect for travel. Last time I traveled, I ended up renting a car with a nonfunctional cigarette lighter charger and it was lucky I packed this backup battery.
