Product Description
Keith Glass is not your typical NBA agent. He's coached at both UCLA (with Larry Brown) and Mater Dei high school in New Jersey for seventeen years, keeping him centered and grounded while people throw millions of dollars his way. He also seems to have become the patron saint for lost basketball causes - if he hasn't been at the center of some of the oddest situations in pro basketball in the US or Europe in the last twenty-five years, then he certainly has an opinion on it. In a piece exclusive to Amazon Shorts, Keith relates his experiences with New York City playground hoops legend Lloyd “Swee'Pea” Daniels, who overcame crack addiction and a troubled adolescence and went on to play for five NBA teams . Like many of Glass's clients, he's a real character - and like stars and never-weres alike, is still dealing with the demons of his past.

About the Author

KEITH GLASS is a longtime NBA agent who has been in the middle of some of the basketball's most controversial stories. The son of NBA agent Joe Glass (Larry Brown's agent), he has represented such players over the years as Scott Skiles, Mark Eaton, Mahmoud-Abdul Rauf, and current NBA rookie and first round draft pick Quincy Douby. He has coached basketball at both high school and college levels and began his professional sports career, after he graduated from law school, as the assistant basketball coach at UCLA. He lives in Rumson, NJ, with his wife, Aylin Guney Glass, who played professional basketball in Turkey. He is the father of five children—Sami, Tyler, Alex, Maggie, and Lucas. Taking Shots is his first book.
