Okay, I bought this item for Around 70$. It is pretty good. I am almost 100% sure it's bootleg, but that doesn't bother me.
First of all, buyers should be aware that although the set is listed as Japanese/ English Language, the only disks in the box set that have Japanese/English audio tracks are the Sailor Moon S disks. The other disks are only in Japanese, but they all have English subtitles.
Second, the artwork on the box is a bit confusing. The box itself features all of the Senshi in their Super forms (which all except sailor moon Don't acquire until SuperS, which is not included in this box set).
Also, the Disk's Boxes have artwork from the SuperS arc.
Third, the First and Second Disk Cases are titled as "Sailor Moon" Part 1 and "Sailor Moon" Part 2..the 3rd is Sailor Moon S
Overall, this Box set is only recommended for people who really only care about actually watching Sailor Moon, and not how great or authentic their DVD's are. If you are a very picky person when it comes to quality, this set is NOT recommended for you.

Bootleg? Perhaps I'm naive., January 12, 2008
Ok, so before I bought this, I read everyone's reviews about it being bootleg. I still bought both 1 & 2, because I wanted the Stars and I had to have the complete set, I'm OCD that way. Then it came in. I looked it over carefuly, noting the copyright warning and the UPC code on the bottom of the boxes. So if it is bootleg, it is high quality, and someone put a lot of time in making it look legit. I don't care either way. It is a wonderful collection that plays on all my DVD's, so it is encoded properly. I has the Movies in it, all 3, yea! I was shock by the sheer number of episodes that I had never seen. Note* the first season is in Japanese with English subtitles. It is not in English at all. Since I wanted it in Japanese anyway this did not bother me, I love to hear them speak. I love it! Kawaii!

Bootleg? Who Cares???, January 19, 2009
I bought this set for $54 on another site and let me tell you, It was some of the best money I've ever spent. The quality is really good, there are interactive menus and accurate subtitles. It's amazing. Whether this set is a bootleg or not and I think it could be or it might be an official release from another country, It is exactly what I needed. With the economy in shambles these days, who has $200 or $300 to spend on one season of sailor moon when you have a set like this where you can get the first THREE (3) seasons for less then half the price of one. TRUST ME. It looks GREAT. I have a 42 inch LCD HDTV and the picture stretches out perfectly. The subtitles are accurate AND my friend has the offical ADV release and it looks exactly the same!!! So if you don't care about having the official release and just care about watching our beloved Sailor Moon and don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on just 1 season, buy this. The episodes and the cover art and the box looks amazing!! I bought the second part to this box set and that is amazing as well!!!! You get the 4th season Sailor Moon SuperS, the unbelievable last season (never released in the us!!!) Sailor Stars with accurate subtitles!! and the three movies Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS. It's amazing, I finally have the whole Sailor Moon series and I am so happy.
In Conclusion, If anybody thinks I'm horrible for not caring whether it is a bootleg or not or for the fact that I absolutely will not pay the ridiculous $200-300 for one season, I really don't care. I'm way too busy watching my amazing sailor moon DVD Set!
