Great Tasting Cereal, but Has Anyone Else Noticed the Change in the Cereal?, January 13, 2009
Okay, I must explain myself that my 3 star rating is for the current cereal, not the original cereal which was a HUGE hit with me as child, along with Monster Cereal, Count Chocula Cereal, 10.4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12), although I wasn't really a big fan of Monster Cereal, Frankenberry Cereal, 9.6-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12).
What I am wondering, is if anyone else has noticed the HUGE difference in the quality of the cereal since it first came out all those years ago? It seems to me that the cereal itself is more consistent with the "ghost poop" that you would use for packing material when shipping something, rather than the thicker and heavier feeling cereal that it used to be. In a weird kind of way to put it, it seems to me like there is more "air" in the cereal than actual cereal. Now don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the occasional bowl of very tasty Booberry (the same goes for Count Chocula), but I really miss the quality that used to go into every box.
Am I totally off my rocker here, or are there others out there that feel the same way?

Nothing Stays The Same... Unfortunately, September 12, 2007
Boo Berry was one of my favorite cereals back in the 80s, so I was surprised to find it on Amazon when I had gone to the General Mills site some time ago and found it listed as discontinued. So, of course, I bought it... even though I had to buy 12 boxes, where I only wanted to buy two or three. Anyway, I was glad it took a short time to get to me(two or three days, tops), and quickly poured myself a bowl... only to find the Boo Berry I got very different from the Boo Berry I remembered, and not quite up to par tastewise as I remembered either. So, though I wouldn't buy it for the taste, for nostalgia's sake, I'd buy a box of Boo Berry, but not twelve boxes. However, maybe you should do it, seeing as how since General Mills doesn't make it anymore (except in limited quantities during Halloween), this might be your last chance to.

Misleading Review..., December 10, 2008
I wouldn't listen to Toby. BooBerry tastes EXACTLY the same as I remember it! The greatest cereal EVER! Also, you CAN buy only 1 box if you want. It is the FIRST option when you search here on Amazon. Also, from Wikipedia: "Boo Berry was released in 1973, and is sometimes mistakenly thought to be discontinued. In reality, its distribution is just much lower and more sporadic than that of the flagship cereal Count Chocula. The best time of the year to find Boo Berry is around Halloween. Target and Walmart are among the US retail stores that have been known to carry this more scarce cereal during the month of October. It can also be found year-round in the Midwestern United States and Northeast at Super Wal-Mart, IGA Supermarkets as well as online at websites such as Amazon.com." So, they STILL make it. I don't what know what he is thinking, maybe that he was buying it from some secret General Mills wherehouse in the middle of nowhere?
