I just ordered this cd after watching a music video on the internet for live forever. At first I thought the video was funny, but then I just loved it. i watch it over and over again. The little dogs dancing, and the pink stars and hearts flying all over are so u-know-what, but who cares. I think its great watching Magnus dance and smile, you can tell he really enjoys what he is doing. The CD is just as fun, i love they way he sings melodies and doesn't worry about fancy sound effects or etc.. in all his songs. The Cd is great euro-dance and I highly recommend it. Add it to your wish list, and rate it, so that amazon can suggest it to more people who like euro-dance.

I discovered this wonderful singer while checking out a Swedish group named Alcazar. Magnus Carlsson happened to be a member of this rather fun retro disco band and sang on their second album entitled "ALCAZARIZED" circa 2004. One thing led to another and I began checking out his many videos on Youtube. Blessed with good looks and a killer smile aside; what captured me most was that I stumbled onto someone who truely has a wonderous singing voice. In an era of Rap and the masses impressed with "singers" who possess the most minimal of vocal ability - I was overjoyed to find this Scandinavian treasure with the beautiful vocal talent!!! Check out his Youtube live performances and you'll find a man born to sing and perform. Magnus exudes lots of pure joy, great energy, and a faint bit of otherworldly kindness and sensitivity.*** "LIVE FOREVER - THE ALBUM" is a real treat and if you like distinctive vocals mixed with mostly uptempo Euro-Dance/Pop sounds - you'll probably like to add this album to your musical collection. My favorite songs are "Don't You Worry", "Another Rainbow", Waves of Love", "Give A Little Love", and of course "Live Forever"; which is accompanied by a rather campy video with cute dogs. "Waves of Love" has a great Bee Gee-esque sound, and "Another Rainbow" has an emotional haunting quality that echos the possibilities of a soul's life through nature. The whole album is rather good and i cant wait to see what Magnus comes up with next! *** I also highly recommend his RE-COLLECTION(1993-2008) greatest hits album which contains 40 tracts! Songs from his solo works, and the bands Alcazar, and Barbados which he sang in are featured. Many songs on this two CD set are in his native Swedish and are just as compelling as his English language songs. I don't know a word of Swedish, yet I feel the emotion and meaning reguardless - music truely is the universal language. Magnus is also an OUT gay man and i want to thank him for his honesty and letting his beautiful spirit shine. The gay anthems "Walking in My Shoes", "I Was Born this Way", and "YMCA" are also on RE-COLLECTION.*** If you enjoy a good singer then MAGNUS CARLSSON is definitely for you!!!!!
