My favorite camera bag ever, February 5, 2008
My husband bought me the large black rolling bag for my birthday. I loved it so much, I ordered the small leather version in "bone" that very same day. Finally an everyday camera bag / purse that doesn't look like a messenger or diaper bag! I can fit my D200 body with 50mm, SB-600, flash cards, lens caps, camera batteries, 2 cell phones, iPod, credit card case, business card case, two checkbooks, hard sunglass case, pockets full of "mommy" items, a couple of Pull-Ups and still have room to spare. The attached pouch holds my make-up and AA battery stash. The edges and dividers are well-padded to protect your gear.
When I was at Imaging USA recently I stopped by the Jill-e booth and opened my small bag to show a friend who was considering one just how much they held. Two other photographers peered over my shoulder and bought them on the spot as well -- I "sold" three in under 5 minutes just by unzipping mine. After walking like a hunchback with my Crumper 7 Million for a couple of years, there just isn't enough space to type how much I adore my Jill-e bags!

5/5 Stars! Great item.. :], May 28, 2009

I just bought this wonderful jill-e bag (Brown/Bone color) (small size) from Amazon.. and it was great! I like the fact that I can choose when should I receive the package and it has a very reasonable shipping prices and + it's discounted! This video will show you how beautiful this bag is. I can't wait to put my Nikon d90 and other accessories in to it! I am very very happy :] I recommend this to the female photographers out there. You will also feel the satisfaction I have right now. :D

Beautiful,just what I was looking for, December 21, 2008
The small Jill.E leather bag was exactly what I was looking for! The bag holds my canon rebel xti with 18-55 lens attached, my canon 55-250 lens with hood on backwards, and my canon HF100 camcorder. There should still be room enough for the 430 exII flash when I purchase that. It is very roomy. The difference between the small and medium bags are that the medium bag is about 1 1/2" > in height, and 1" > in width.
Prior to purchasing the bag, I had purchased and returned the lowepro flipside 300, and a kata 465 back pack. The lowepro flipside was a great bag, but too big and bulky for my needs. I took it to a wedding, and people were wondering what was in my huge black backpack. The kata bag was uncomfortable around my clavicle bones. It was light, but big and not practical for my needs. There didn't seem to be that much padding for your equipment in the Kata 465.
I found that in general, most bags are "made" with a man's body frame in mind and are on the bigger side for an average woman.
Photography is a hobby and I take pictures mostly of my family, kids, and nature. The Jill.e bag is perfect. It's well made througout. The interior sections are velcro and can be adjusted to fit your needs. Plenty of room in the outside pockets and the mesh pockets on the top of the bag for the smaller stuff like battery charger, CF cards, lens caps. You can get to all your equipment inside the bag and pockets quickly and easily. This bag looks like a well made leather pocket book. I have been able to fit my camera with my 55-250 lens attached. The only thing with the bag is that it is on the heavier side, but you can attach the shoulder strap, and it's comfortable to carry. I've had the bag now for about 3 weeks and am finally satisfied with what I have purchased. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who is considering it.
