A fruit salad of His goodness, September 11, 2007
This is truly Israel and New Breed's most diverse and unique, live album that has been created thus far. The main reason why I say it's unique because usually their album starts off with an upbeat song. However, this album jumps right into prayer and worship to take you into a deeper level in Christ on the song "So Come".
Now the reason why I say it's the most diverse because of the diversity of genre on this album. It's like a fruit salad of His goodness. They have a song that takes you over to the Latin/Hispanic community in the song called "Long Life" with T-Bone. Then they take you over to Africa in the song called "Identity". Then flows you into the CCM genre that's more popular in the white community in the song "I Know Who I Am", which is interestingly enough happens to be my favorite song on the album. It's interesting because I'm black and I usually only buy black gospel music. After hearing that song it makes me want to go buy a CCM album that I may have liked but never would buy. Well anyway, they eventually take us into the African-American community on the song "Surely Surely" which kind of has a hip hop, jazzy sound to it that exhorts you to praise/shout that God surely is Holy and as a result to help to tear down the walls of ungodliness, depression, and affliction but done with love.
So I would say this album is definitely worth buying because it's a very timely album, it's good for building bridges with other cultures, and it can help take you to a deeper level in Christ.

Deep Worship, September 8, 2007
This CD is any awesome successor to Alive in South Africa. It is powerful! DO NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE! You will truly be blessed. Every song is incredible. I worshipped, praised and cried. Deep cries out to deep! My favorites are "If Not for Your Grace", "With Long Life", "Say So", "The Prayers of the Righteous" and everything else. Its hard to pick just a few to mention. I agree with another reviewer. It can't be put in just one genre. It spans many. There are no duds here! It is evident that Israel and New Breed really consecrated themselves and all who hear this CD will be blessed. Bring on the DVD! God bless you Israel and New Breed!!

Just when you think..., October 2, 2007
you've arrived, God calls you to go even deeper in him. It took me a few days to really put words to how I felt after listening to this cd and viewing the bonus dvd & extras. As always, Israel & New Breed trust God and releases albums that are just refreshing. However, this one is different and perhaps, with a greater purpose in mind. This cd will cause the follower of Christ to be made humble once again. It is truly all about Jesus throughout the entire album. This is a cd that I can just put on and press play. I don't have to jump to any specific song, praise God b/c it's really all about him.
"So Come" is an invitation to enter into His presence. "The Prayers of The Righteous" shows just how important prayer is in the life of a believer. "Say So" shows the purpose of the follower of Christ 'to be salt (seasoned/mature) and a light (...on a hill cannot be hidden) and if You are so Called, then wer're encouraged to Say So! "Long Life" proves how good God is being our creator and being the only one great enough to sustain his creation. "Identity" is such an encouraging song for those believers who don't know who they are or happen to lose themselves in the image of others instead of the image of their creator (let us make man in our image). "I Know Who I Am" reminds me of a song of thanksgiving that encourages one to proclaim that they know who they are in Jesus and it is Him whom they belong. "I Will Search For You" exalts God and how deeply the believer seeks the face of God. "Surely, Surely" gives the praise to God for being Holy, and without a doubt the current 'I AM THAT I AM' and to shout and declare victory over sin because the believer is victorious in Christ. "If Not For Your Grace" simply leaves the believer to contemplate over their own personal life outside of everything else and where their life would be today had it not been for the Lord God Almighty. "Deeper" is an awesome song that shows the heart of a believer that is ready to go deeper into the real things that concern God (those that are lost, those that you wouldn't normally place yourself among) beyond Sunday worship service, Wednesday bible study, etc. "We Have Overcome" is a song of triumph and thanksgiving unto God for making a way for His people. "You Are Not Forgotten" can both be applied to both the lost and the believer. It's a song that can be taken from the heart of God to His creation.
God Bless you Israel & New Breed. I viewed the DVD, and NEW BREED is definitely not selfish. Thank you for being so out the box that no one can place a label on the sound! It was a breath of fresh air to see the different nationalities on stage worshipping the Lord as one voice. Thank you for releasing that with the cd.
