The second prgram, Legacy of gemini, returns you to the years of the Gemini Spacecraft, whose missions thrust the U.S. into a new era of space exploration and helped our astronauts gain confidence for the lofty goals of the Apollo Program. Giant strides were made in space technology, including the first American space walk, docking in space, re-entry experience, and proving that man could indeed live and function in space.
