My Body Loves this Video, November 3, 2007
I love this new Callanetics program and having cardio is a huge plus for me. I feel totally energized and have experienced fast results at losing inches and pounds with this program. As a person who needs about 12 more hours in every day, having the ability to choose either cardio, toning, or both allows me to fit exercise into my schedule no matter how busy I am. The moves in the cardio section feel graceful, and I like having several different levels of difficulty you can choose to follow. I DO NOT recommend just watching it; you have to do it to experience how intense and energizing it is. I was quite surprised at how intensely it worked my whole body. I love the toning, too. As a big fan of the first Callanetics videos, I really like this program much better. I have toned quicker, and the posture stuff is so great. Although I wanted to do the programs without watching the Callanetics Concepts, I didn't, and surprised myself that they were actually very interesting and helpful in getting faster results as they said they would do. I was unaware how important the pelvic floor is, and of how "out" of alignment my body was. I have started using the concepts outside of my workouts when I am at work and when driving, and found it helps eliminate pain I normally feel from sitting at my desk or riding in the car. This is a great program and has far more to offer than just exercise. I also ordered the new Callanetics Evolution DVD, and I enjoy alternating the Cardio video with that one.

CardioCallentics...It will grow on you!!, October 1, 2007
When I first got this DVD and viewed it(while doing some of the moves here and there) I thought, "not sure if I like it". The CardioCallantics didn't seem too exciting. The new toning moves seemed okay... but none of the old standbys seemed to be there. But I have done the entire DVD twice now (both Cardio and toning) and I REALLY like it. The Cardio really flows and really does get your heartrate up (mine was 143 during a good portion). But it is very relaxing too. Just goes to show, you don't have to jump around like a mad woman/man to get a good Cardio workout. The toning seemed like a very good mix too, once you do it and set your mind to something different. No, it didn't have the "buns like a peach" moves... but it had lots of very interesting, very effective new moves... And I have to say the new toning segment seem to flow a lot better than any of the original tapes (and I have them all!!)I think it did a great job of taking care of all the major areas in the shorter workout. All in all the CardioCallanetics is a good mix of everything, a little cardio, all over toning... with excellent instruction! Now I will be VERY interested in seeing how the new All Toning tape will be!! Can't wait for my copy to ship!!!

Very good, a nice updated Callanetics, plus a cardio segment, September 17, 2007
I am a Callanetics and other similar workout fan (i.e. The Bar Method, Lotte Burke, etc.) Callanetics is the original, though, and this is an update on the classics.
You have two options, Cardio (which will still leave you toned, lots of leg and arm work while keeping heart rate up) and then the toning section. The toning section is good, and is definitely updated and improved upon. The only reason this got 4 instead of 5 stars is that it was missing some of Callan's signature seat moves, for a 'peachy' backside. I love those moves, and they weren't included on this dvd. I am tempted to see if Callanetics Evolution has included these moves.
Overall, a good workout that doesn't add stress to your day!
