The Readingpen does what it is advertized to do. It could be imporved to read more than one line at a time.

I purchased this item for an individual who is severly dyslexic. He has been very pleased with the Reading Pen. Once you get the hang of the scanning option it's easy to use. The voice speaks phonetically and could be improved, but overall it has opened an avenue for learning that he has never had before.
