My wife developed high blood presure and her HDL and LDL and treglicerides got way out of line. She started taking "Naturess Plus" red yeast rice and Omega 3 tabs (fish oil). A year later her LDL/HDL levels are back in line and the triglicerides are back to normal.
My view is dpn't mess with something that works.

Unfortunately the FDA has made most producers of this product reformulate it so that it doesn't bear much relationship to the Chinese original. These folks are still making an effective formulation that certainly positively impacts my CDL level

My wife currently uses this product and it has successfully lowered her cholesterol. This product has not produced any side effects and has not affected her liver functions. My wife is no longer on any cholesterol lowering perscription medications.
