5.0 out of 5 stars Fits everything I have and then some..., January 13, 2007
By Lou Hamilton (Frederick, MD) - See all my reviews
I use this bag with a Nikon D50. I store the camera in the middle compartment with a Quantatray 18-200 zoom lens with a petal hood mounted on the body. The bag also holds a Nikon 50mm lens, Nikon SB-600 flash, a battery charger, close-up filters, other miscellaneous filters, a USB cable, Nikon D50 Field Guide, Nikon D50 Users Guide, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

It also has room for at least one or two more lenses or flashes. It can also hold a soda bottle and a small lunch or snack.

The only design flaw that I can see is that there probably should have been two clasps on the fron t in stead of one. However, this only comes into play when you use the handle instead of the shoulder strap.

Anyone looking for a camera bag that doesn't looks like your typical camera bag and wants a lot of room for growth should consider this bag.

I would highly recommend this bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars don't read this...just buy it, December 25, 2007
By Ian (Mystic, CT United States) - See all my reviews
Last year i purchased a 17-55f2.8is lens for my Canon DSLR, which meant that my old camera bag of 20yrs just would not take my gear..

Damn, I hated that. I was really looking to get a backpack rather than a shoulder bag, but evena fter buying a Tamrac adventure 7 i found that a) there really is NOT a lot of room in any reasonable sized backpack and b) you have to take the thing off to get a camera out..what use is that?..

This bag nas 2 smaller brothers but this one could take all my gear and lunch too.. I own canon 40D, 17-55f2.8is, sigma 12-24, caonon 70-300is and 420ex flash.

Interestingly, though the bag will take all of this gear and allow the camera to be stored with lens on vertically, there is actually sufficient height for the gear to be in two layers, with the camera/lens on top laying horizontally.

well made, very flexible, doesnt look like a camera bag and a fair price. very satisfied.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Penny, June 7, 2008
This guys holds a lot and does it in style. Right now it is carrying...

Nikon D80
Nikon 80-200mm
Nikon 60mm Macro
Nikon 55mm
Nikon 18-135mm
Tokina 10-17mm
Nikon SB-600
Nikon MD-MB80
Light Meter
iPod

Nine 62mm lens filters
One 1.7x adapter lens
Five SD cards
Twelve AA batteries
One on-flash diffusor
One 7-in-1 flash screen

AA Battery Charger
Nikon EL-En3 Charger

Everything in its place and everything has a place. Only two things are missing.

Straps to hold a small tripod
A 1 inch separator to hold a thin laptop. You can ALMOST squeeze a Macbook Pro 15" into the bag, but miss it by about 1" in width and then you would need a separator to keep it on its own side.

This can be done by getting the Brazillon Dollar Bag but then you add over $100 to the price and end up with a HUGE bag.

If you are just carrying photography equipment, I can't imagine a more comfortable, versatile, stylish bag. Plus it doesn't look like you are carrying $10,000 in equipment.
