Wow, these traps really work!!!, December 26, 2007
We live in the country, so mice are a never ending battle in our home. I have purchase just about every humane mouse trap on the market, with limited success. Some traps the mice would not enter at all and others, the mice would simply escape after eating the snack inside. I was a bit reluctant to try these mouse cubes as they seem so simple...am I ever thankful that I did try these. The Mice Cube is by far the best humane mouse trap that I have found. They are simple to use, and amazingly effective. Another nice feature of these traps is their small size, they easily fit in a drawer or other tight space where mice like to visit. Releasing the mouse or mice from the trap is incredibly simple, you just turn the trap over and the door opens. As with any live catch trap, the trap should be checked often as captured mice need to be released as quickly as possible. To clean the traps when needed, I purchased a mop bucket from the dollar store and soak the traps in a mild bleach solution, I then rinse them well with water and after allowing them to dry, they are as good as new. I would highly recommed these traps to anyone looking for a simple, humane solution to dealing with mice in your home.

Worked every time!, September 16, 2008
This trap worked so well for us that it would have a new mouse in it typically within the hour of setting the empty box out. We frequently caught more than one mouse in it at a time. Kinda gross, but better than having them run all over the laundry room. I never had a problem with mice NOT entering the trap or escaping once they'd gotten in. I think our biggest problem was releasing them too close to our property. I suspect some may have been coming right back in. The best, though, was when my daughter ran upstairs one morning to tell us, "Mom, we caught another mouse...and she had babies IN the trap!" Yep, Mama mouse entered the cozy trap to deliver 6 pink, squirming baby mice. Better than behind my freezer....

Effective, safe for homes with children, and humane!, November 7, 2007
We live out in the country, and the mice are starting to come inside now to stay warm as the weather gets cooler outside. We were given some of these traps to use, and are so grateful to have them! In just the three days since we put these out, we have caught seven different mice, the last five of which were caught without even putting any bait in the traps! We just put the traps where we have seen the mice and they got caught while exploring.
We have a small child, so knew that we didn't want to put out poison, glue traps, or the spring-loaded traps, so these have provided us a very effective means for trapping mice while not putting our daughter in jeopardy.
The only concern about these is that it is hard to clean them out well after the mice leave droppings in them, but we are just rinsing them out well with the garden hose before bringing them back into the house, and then wiping down the outside surfaces with disinfectant wipes. Our daughter is constantly supervised, so that should do the trick for us, to prevent her from getting access to any germs the mice leave behind.
I would definitely recommend these traps to anybody with a mouse problem, especially to those with small children or pets who could be harmed by some of the more traditional methods of handling the problem. And the fact that these traps are no-kill is, of course, a good thing too; just be sure to take the mice far enough away from the house before releasing them! In fact, we have had such luck with these traps that we will be getting more as soon as we can! These things are great!
