The members of The Kilborn Alley Blues Band - Andrew Duncanson, Joe Asselin, Chris Breen, Josh Stimmel, and Ed O'Hara - are a true band, together of personal volition and sheer joy. According to Chicago blues matriarch Mary Lane, ""You meet a lot of people in a lifetime in music, and the guys in Kilborn Alley are the kind I can say I am glad to know. They have that crazy love for blues and stay true to it."" Nick Moss produced the recording and joins the band on guitar on three tracks. Also guesting are Gerry Hundt and Abraham Johnson.

We purchased the CD after seeing their show at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago. Kilborn Alley is a true Chicago Blues Band. We loved the stage show; the rich vocals, harmonica, and interplay of the group that drive the show come through on the album.

We found the sounds more complex than on their first album Put It In The Alley which we suspect comes from touring together.

We highly recommend both albums and seeing the group live.
