Converter is not as pictured or described. Yes, the converter you receive is a 45w step-down converter with UK plug and US outlet...but it is not a "grounded" type, must be plugged directly into outlet as it has no wired plug (and due to weight, has a problem staying plugged into outlet at times...fire hazard!) and does not have a 3-prong US outlet, but a 2-blade US type outlet. The picture is actually of a 100/150 watt converter. The companies description should state "Not grounded, does not have a wired plug, only has 2 blade outlet". Had I known this I would not have ordered 2 of these.

Very good product. I've been using two of these for over six months with no problems. They never heat up either, which is a surprise

Note, the one in the picture shows the plug extended from the converter. The ones I received plugged directly into the wall with no extension.

Cons: Heavy for travel.

Buy a more powerful adapter, blew up as soon as i plugged my laptop in.
